JTEKT steering racks are manufactured to TS16949 standards in OEM factories around the world. We offer this premium quality branded product to the aftermarket to complement our existing power steering range.
Our product range consists of: hydraulic racks with hydraulic vane pumps (HPS). This system is driven by the engine permanently or hydraulic racks with EHPS pumps (HEPS). This type of pump is linked to the CAN network. The motor control is adapted to use steering wheel angle, vehicle speed and temperature. The benefits of this type of system include lower fuel consumption and this is widely fitted to vehicles today, see picture.
